Marvelous Night for a Moondance

Fabulous photo op of a red moon luner eclipse on the night of September 27, 2015. A memorable and fascinating spectacle! A marvel of nature was captured using a Canon 6D and 24-105mm lens. The trick was in the exposure, determining how much light the moon was reflecting, and how best to capture it without over or under exposing the image. After a little experiment I got some amazing results. I love how the stars were captured as well. So many stars!
