Before and After Photos at the Hotel Phillips
I snapped some photos on a recent visit to an art opening held at the historic Hotel Phillips.
The Hotel Phillips, built in 1931, still contains many of the Art Deco details from it’s original design. What captivated me were the large draped windows, light fixtures, and crown molding in this elaborate meeting room.
Here are a couple of photos that I took with my iPhone. I then altered the images using some very cool apps. The apps I used were “Snapseed” and “TiltShiftGen.”
I clean lined the image with Snapseed. I used TiltShiftGen to add blur and alter the color palate to create a cool antique vibe. Check out the original (the top photos in the pair) and modified photos.
